South Florida Wildlife Center

HomeCare Heroes

Every Baby Season [March – October], we receive several hundred wildlife patients that require special care. Some of these babies need round-the-clock feeding that the Center cannot provide due to operational hours and shortage of staff. Your assistance in providing much-needed care can make a positive difference for these young wildlife patients.

Being a HomeCare Hero is often a 24/7 responsibility, and patients must be returned to our Wildlife Hospital for checkups every two weeks or as designated by the Clinic Supervisor. Please be sure you can commit the time and care for the sake of your fostering success and the health and survival of your patients.

Thank you to all who applied and helped us with our 2023 Baby Season! We look forward to opening up the application again soon for 2024.
